Montage Deer Valley

Salt of the Earth's Chief Care Officer, Paul Heslop, and his wife Laura, were fortunate enough to be invited by the spa director at the Spa Montage to spend a spa day at their gorgeous facility. The entire experience had the makings for a much needed relaxing day. From driving through the swanky streets of Park City, to the scenic, winding way up to the Montage, even the car-ride was thrilling (which is a lot to say for Paul and Laura)! Seeing the grand Montage Deer Valley through the trees was like getting a glimpse into seventh heaven...

Every employee we came across, including the valet man, was so incredibly helpful and gracious towards us (remind me later to tell you just how awesome the valet man was). The Montage has truly captured a "home-away-from-home" kind of a feeling and they make you feel like you belong up in that paradise with them.

Laura enjoying a little in-spa dining, yum!

The most amazing homemade marshmallow & churro dessert, highly recommend it.

Outdoor Patio

Our short experience at the Montage is leaving a lasting impression. After a relaxing spa day, we received a tour of the Montage resort. It is a very family-oriented place. Seasonally, at the outdoor patio, guests are treated with the makings for delicious s'mores that everyone is sure to enjoy. There are many activities for the whole family including a mountain-side trail and outdoor pool. In our visit, we felt that they truly cared about family. As we were leaving and the valet man gave us our keys, he noticed the unkept backseat with two empty car-seats. He briefly asked about our kids and moments later, came back with gifts of stuffed animals for each of our children. So thoughtful and the kids loved them. We hope to visit Montage Deer Valley very soon, this time kids in tow.

Stay at Stein Eriksen Lodge

We all could use a "GNO" every once in awhile, whether it be a "guys night out" or a "girls night out." Luckily Salt of the Earth was able to pull some strings with the beautiful Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, UT for a much needed GIRLS night out! The beneficiaries of the amazing hook ups were Laura Heslop, the carer of the "Chief Care Officer" (Paul Heslop), also known as the wife, and friends. First off, the drive up to the Lodge was stunning as the mountain leaves had just started to change colors for the fall season. As we arrived to the magnificent entrance, all of the Stein Eriksen staff were so accommodating to us three girls who were slightly out of our element! Even so, they were very respectful and made us feel exceptional. The grounds are beautifully lined with trails winding through trees and flowers giving it that mountainous feel as we walked to our room.

And the room was amazing! It was a shame that life would only allow a one night stay because it was the kind of place you could spend forever. On our arrival, there was a surprising turn-down service complete with comfy robes and slippers.

The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge is sensational. We girls were regretting not spending the entire morning their before our pedicure treatments. The spa staff was very professional but in an inviting kind of way. We were lucky to make it to the spa early enough to enjoy the meditation area and spa bath.

Our pedicures started out with the choice of six different Salt of the Earth scents. Loving the cranberry tones in the cosmopolitan scent, we all chose it for our pedi products. It is the perfect scent to get us into the Fall spirit! The nail technicians then hand-mixed the cosmo scent oil into Salt of the Earth's Salt Glow Scrub and Whipped Body Creme. After a warm soak and buffering of our worn feet, the therapists used the freshly mixed Salt Glow Scrub to exfoliate any remaining, unwanted skin. The grapeseed oil, being the base of the scrub, rejuvenated our new, smooth skin. Combined with the cosmo scent, it could easily be one of my favorite products - yum! Then, we received a melting leg massage with the Whipped Body Creme. Rich in vitamins A & E, our legs and feet were getting geared up for the responsibilities of a working woman and stay-at-home mothers. Finally, our toes got glamorized with some fun paint to top it off. Overall, I think that we had a pretty good "GNO" and are looking forward to the next one! Thank you Stein Eriksen Lodge!

Experience the seasonal Silk Serenity Pedicure at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas with Salt of the Earth's own Paul Heslop. Visiting the spa at the Mystic Marriot in Conneticut, Paul was privileged to kick back and unwind from demanding business travels for an afternoon.
He says this about his visit - "I felt like my spa experience started well before my treatment because of the beautiful surroundings as I drove into the Mystic Marriot. Shortly after being warmly greeted at the door, I entered the men's relaxation area where I enjoyed complimentary beverages and snacks. Diana, the lead nail technician, was so friendly and did an amazing job on these overworked feet and legs! I was impressed with the design of the spa and way the staff treated all of their guests. I'm excited to visit many more Red Door Spas."

BLEND BAR in Paradise

Little Palm Island Resort and Spa in the beautiful Florida Keys is a true paradise. The amazing resort gives "getaway" a whole new meaning. Only accessible by boat, this 5 1/2 acre island features 30 oceanfront bungalow suites. There are no telephones or televisions; it is truly an escape from the world.

The exquisite spa is a SpaTerre, the signature spa of Noble House Hotels and Resorts. Salt of the Earth recently traveled to the remote Little Palm Island to set up and train the spa staff on our signature Blend Bar. Vacationers can be a part of the experience in their own products being made. Starting with fresh, natural ingredients of sugar and grapeseed oil and then the essential scent of their choice, the spa staff then mixes it all up. It's the perfect gift to remember a trip to paradise.
